A is for Attitude

Attitude. It is something that seems simple but its hard to do.  I've been doing reading on work place attitudes and strategies.  One thing that I find is really helpful is talking about the issues at work in a safe environment.  Where the other person can listen and in the end ask the questions of how can we make it better?

Step 3: Communicate

This is the hardest part, but also the most important. Frequently, we create an imaginary barrier that stops us from simply articulating exactly how we feel. 9 times out of 10, the best thing is to ask them what they’re doing for lunch, grab a sandwich together, and have a good old-fashioned yap. (1)

What do you find works best for work place problems? Bury it under the rug and ignore?  Hope the problem goes away? Create a more toxic work environment?
